Hello, My Friend!
Welcome to the shortest note you’ll ever read from me! I’ve said that before, but I really mean it this time. You see, I’m at my son’s house in Ocala as I’m on babysitting duty soon. I don’t have my usual chunk of time to write to you, but I didn’t want to leave you without one bit of encouragement. So, I’m going to give you a bit from Erma Bombeck. Do you know who she was? If I start explaining her, this will turn into a really long email, so I’ll let you do some googling on your own if you so desire.
I recently came across this quote of hers that gave me pause. She said . . .
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left but could say, ‘I’ve used everything You gave me.'”
Oh, how I hope I can say those words someday. I hope that you will be able to do so as well.
That’s it!
Until next week, my friend!
