Hello, My Friend!
When I wrote last week, I forgot to tell you I’d be in California this week and that I would be skipping my email. I didn’t want to leave you empty-handed, so here is a very short post. I generally like to keep my letter to you around 1,000 words, and since there is the old saying that says, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” I’m leaving you with one picture. Maria and I visited Huntington Gardens today in Pasadena. Pretty sure we smelled every rose in the garden, plus a few other flowers to boot. This one didn’t have much of an aroma, but since it was the big eclipse today and it was an “Eclipse” rose, that’s the one photo I’m posting. Stop and smell the roses today! Or whatever else might be blooming near you!
Have a sweet week!

it is perfect every moment of its existence.”
